The $5 Philanthropist
Since the beginning of Project Ecuador we have been very fortunate to have the help of GiveMeaning.com, and especially its founder Tom Williams. Everything they have done for us, from collecting donations, to spreading the word about our project, to lending some helpful advice whenever we needed it - everything has been amazing.Gavin recently collected a cheque from Tom for all the raised money through GiveMeaning.com. Tom posted an article about it on his blog, which is titled The $5 Philanthropist. I encourage everyone to check out Tom's thoughts. Not just on OA, but on the state of the world as he writes about it.

Why stop your project at soccer? How about food and tennis rackets?
Because this is our first project we decided to stick to something which everyone in the group knows and loves. Also, because of the simplicity of the sport of soccer, it makes it accessible to many more people - all you need is a ball.
Thanks for the ideas. Hope you keep following along with the journey.
